This year, Lona celebrates Día de los Muertos through the lens of El Sol — the sun, the origin of corn, fire, color and time. In Mesoamerican tradition, marigolds are known as the flowers of the sun, creating golden paths that help guide returning souls home.

From October 6 through November 3, ancestral ingredients, golden-hour warmth and a glowing ofrenda will transform Lona into a place of remembrance and connection. Guests are invited to add the name of a loved one to the altar and join us in honoring the lives, stories and light that continue to guide us.
